United States of America triathlete, Amy Marsh has won Ironman China 2010 by ten minutes over Germany’s Nicole Leder with fellow German triathlete Heidi Jesberger a further six minutes back in 3rd place.
Leder put in a blistering 3:20 marathon but it was not enough to make up the deficit she had after the bike. All three women came out of the swim in sight of each other but Marsh’s 5:10 on the bike proved to be the game breaker today.
