Chase McQueen Set to Defend His Supertri E Crown in London
Chase McQueen, the reigning Supertri E champion, returns to London seeking back-to-back titles in a high-octane triathlon showdown.
Chase McQueen, reigning Supertri E World Triathlon Champion, will return to the London Aquatics Centre on April 5 to protect the title he claimed in dramatic style last year. The American star’s 2024 victory marked a powerful comeback, especially after he swam butterfly in the finals the previous year—an unconventional choice that underscored the event’s unpredictability.
McQueen’s experience runs deep. He not only won the world title in 2024 but also took the 2023 Montreal crown, cementing his status as a master of Supertri E racing. Standing on the brink of another season, he hopes to leave London once again with the top prize.
“I’m thrilled to be racing in Supertri E again,” McQueen said. “Racing in London is special, with passionate fans and strong competition. Winning last year meant a lot to me, and I want to repeat it. I can’t wait to get back to London!”
Olympic champion Cassandre Beaugrand confirmed her participation yesterday, and more athletes will soon join the lineup. Now in its sixth year, Supertri E combines real-world and virtual racing.
