Craig Alexander and Mirinda Carfrae win Quassy Half Ironman Triathlon 2010 – Results

Craig won what is considered the biggest half Ironman in the world outside the world championships on the weekend in Conneticut. Terenzo Bozzone from NZ was second and Matt Reed third. In the womens race, Mirinda Carfrae from Australia won the womens race in a stacked field also.
Craig heads off next weekend to the Boise IM 70.3 triathlon to once again go head to head with Chris Lieto. It was this race last year that provided us with one of the most exciting finishes in the sport and some amazing photos of the final sprint finish.
