We have finally finished the bike count after analysing around 1500 bike brands in the transition area.
We thought that we may see a change to the traditional leader in the ‘bike of choice’ for triathletes. The guys at Shimano were certain that there would be a new leader.
After about 25% of the bikes were counted we also thought we were going to be telling you all that there was going to be a new brand at the top of the bike count. It was not too be.
Cervelo has once again come out on top.
However what we have seen is a move from two brands in particular in to second and third place.
We will release the results during the week.
Felt, Cannondale, Trek, Specialized and Giant were all strong contenders and we could see a new brand taking the top spot here at Port Macquarie in 2014.
