This unique recipe and a great alternative to your stock standard highly processed crackers. Make a batch of these next time you bring the wine out. These are quality, home made, grain free, seeded crackers, herbed almond cracker bread & parmesan bread sticks.
Easy to make and have an earthy flavour from the dried rosemary. Not a grain in sight just seeds and spices. Dip them in a roasted carrot & cumin dip, creamy tahini or beet & cashew. Can’t beat these crackers. Completely grain free, dairy free and vegan friendly.
Seeded Rosemary Crackers
- 3 tbs chia seeds
- 1 cup flax seeds
- 1 cup water
- 3 tbs pepitas
- 3 tbs sunflower seeds
- 3 tbs sesame seeds
- 1.5 tsp salt flakes
- 3 tbs dried rosemary
Preheat oven to 100 degrees Celcius. Line a large baking sheet with baking paper.
Put chia, flax and water in a large bowl. Stir and leave for 15 minutes.
Combine pepita, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, salt & dried rosemary to flax mixture and stir well.
Spread the mixture evenly on the lined baking sheet and bake at 100 degrees C for 90min.
Turn cracker over and continue to bake for 90min. Turn the heat off and let it cool inside the oven.
Break the cracker into rough pieces once it has completely cooled.
